Procedures for International Explosion-proof Certification Services

Client Requirements:

1. Submission of Letter of Authorization or execution of a technical service contract to CQST.
2. Provision of product samples, technical drawings, documentation, and payment of an advance deposit.

CQST Services:
3. Conversion of client materials into format/language required by the foreign certification body.
4. Product testing per international standards and submission of reports to the foreign certifier.
5. Conducting factory inspections upon the foreign certifier’s request.

Certification Issuance:
6. Upon approval of:
› Factory inspection reports
› Test results
The foreign certification body issues the compliance certificate.
Fee structure:

• CQST: Service & testing fees
• Foreign body: Certification fees

Post-Certification Obligations:
7. Certificate holders must comply with the compliance requirements of the foreign certification body.
