Nanyang Explosion Protected Electrical Apparatus Research Institute (CNEx) originated in the 1950s and was formally established in 1970. As China's premier scientific research institution, it specializes in explosion-proof technology R&D, standardization, product testing and certification, and mandatory industry administration. Through generations of relentless effort, exploration, and innovation, CNEX has tackled numerous fundamental and critical explosion-proof technology projects and developed a diverse range of series explosion-proof electrical products. These are widely applied across industrial sectors including coal mining, petroleum, chemicals, aerospace, grain and oil processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and military industries.
